Q: How do I book a catering event? A: Just fill out our Catering Booking Form with your event details and food preferences. Once completed, your total cost will be automatically calculated and displayed. To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit is required: • $500 for Small Parties (8–27 guests) • $1000 for Medium Parties (28–47 guests) • $1500 for Large Parties (48+ guests) Your date and time are confirmed once the deposit is received.

Q: What types of catering do you offer? A: We specialize in premium sushi experiences, surf & turf menus, and fully custom spreads. From curated sushi tables to smoked meats and sides—we’ll create a menu that fits your vision.

Q: How far in advance should I book? A: We recommend booking as soon as you know your event date as we book up quickly. Last-minute bookings (under 5 days’ notice) may be subject to a Rush Fee and depend on availability.

Q: What does the day of catering look like? When do you arrive? A: Our team arrives approximately 2 hours before your scheduled service time to set up and begin on-site slicing, plating, and final preparations. Your sushi will be expertly rolled off-site and sliced fresh at your event for the best presentation and flavor. Any cooked items—like smoked meats and hot sides—will arrive fresh, hot, and ready to serve. We’ll bring everything needed to serve, including setup materials, condiments, and disposable wares (if applicable), so you can relax and enjoy the experience.

Q: Do you offer custom menus? A: Yes! Whether you're planning a 68+ guest celebration or envisioning a unique surf & turf experience, we’ve got you covered. Q: What's included in your catering service? A: We provide all necessary serving items including chopsticks, plates, napkins, condiments, and setup. Sushi is rolled off-site and sliced fresh on-site for the best presentation.

Q: Is there a minimum guest count? A: Yes, our catering services start at a minimum of 8 guests. Pricing and menu options are tiered based on group size—Small (8–27), Medium (28–47), Large (48–67), and XL (68+). Just enter your guest count and event details on the catering booking form to view accurate pricing and menu structure for your event.

Q: Can you accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions? A: For catering events, absolutely — just let us know about any allergies or dietary needs in advance, and we’ll tailor the menu accordingly. For our premium takeout sushi boxes, each drop is Omakase-style, meaning the menu is chef’s choice based on the freshest local ingredients. As a result, we’re unable to accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions for takeout orders.

Q: Where do you source your ingredients? A: We use premium, locally caught tuna and high-quality, small-batch ingredients including local microgreens from Origin Farms in San Marcos and real Japanese wasabi—not the fake stuff.

Q: Do you cater events outside San Diego? A: Yes, we cater events throughout Southern California and beyond. Travel fees apply for locations outside San Diego County. (Example: Orange County = $400 travel fee.)

Q: What's your cancellation policy? A: Deposits are non-refundable. You may reschedule up to 48 hours before the event without a fee. After that, full payment is required.

Q: How is payment handled? A: An online deposit is required to secure your event date: $500 for small events (8–27 guests), $1,000 for medium events (28–47 guests),$1,500 for large events (48+ guests). The remaining balance is due on the day of your event. We accept Zelle, Venmo, cash, and checks for final payment.
